If you haven't noticed or for those that have been around awhile. You'll see that many bitch and complain of what we have today for our cars. You'll see things like " This damn JWT chip runs my car so rich it's killing my potential " or " His chip run so conservative " or even better is the fact that JWT is a decade old news, it works yes, but any other name out there has to break down a guy who has the monopoly on Z tuning. It has always been a no brainier to say JWT for my Stg III Z. But over the years, we all have seen where they fuel out weight the air which means even still, you need a device to control that. Smart move by JWT, because all cars do not run the same and being on that safe side has help them build the reputation we know today. To compete with that Ash looks to have taken what the founder did and one, two up it by giving people back the control to allow you to run different settings without sending the chip back off. If you look at JWT web site, you'll see that it has not been updated since 1997. A year after the Z was gone, seems like there interest was too. I think like all companies you move on to where the money is and that's no ones fault. Look how long it took for Z's to get any injectors bigger than 555cc's for street uses. The Z32, first monster import from Japan, last on the list of innovation. So quickly shadowed by the Supra, lost to the quick and nimble RX-7 only to be saved by the Mitsubshi/Dodge 3000gt reputation for reliability. If we wait for the money making companies to put out the potential of these cars, your going to be waiting forever. So if everyone would just open there mind and for some reason, stop the judging and look at it as a way of getting some respect for what you drive. One could clearly see we need all the help we can get. All my friends have Supra's. Proven time and time again of power and ease. I will never drop my Z's for that ease. I went after the Z32 while they where all buying there Supra's. Because I wanted to be different in a way and the way I was drawn to this car wasn't even power that motivated me at first. I had no clue what I was getting in labor wise. But the challenge to prove it was the first Super car from Japan and it's just as superior as the proven is something to me that will never die. So we need to stop fighting ourselves here and add to the progress not hinder it.
